Installations
The
projects division of PES is divided into two main industrial
sectors- engineering and construction. The engineering
division specialises in the installation of BW Fixator
levelling systems and Stolle work holding equipment
for a wide variety of industrial machinery and equipment
such as machine tools, printing presses, vehicle test/assembly
lines, engine test facilities, coordinate measuring
machines and special purpose equipment. This expertise
is provided on a worldwide basis with a highly trained
team of installation and design/production engineers
based at our head office in Hinckley, England.
Project
Management
PES
can offer a comprehensive project management service
to compliment products and serviced offered by PES.
We will handle all element of control and coordination
from cradle to grave. Typical examples of managed projects
to date are installations such as: observatory foundation
installation, large seismic mass foundations and crash
test wall installations.
Design
and Innovation - Mechanical Products and Equipment
We
have experience in the design of capital products, production
equipment, test equipment, seismic mass design and hydraulic
systems design. We can offer an innovative design resource
within the capabilities of PES.
We have within our team we have one of th UK's leading
machine tool designers who designed the first Multi-Axis
CNC Machining Centre utilizing synthetic granite as
the main material for its structural masses, PES
moglice for the linear slideways and PES
DWH structural grout to bond together the machine elements.
The experience of the PES
design resource is not limited to machine tools but
is based upon the design and innovation of over 200
different products or mechanical equipment many of which
are still being sold in volume or have been paying back
their companies in output over a number of years.
For example, in 2002 we completed the design of a major
production installation for the Sub Sea Cable manufacturing
industry. The cost of the plant was recovered within
the first contract and the availability of the complex
has opened up substantial new opportunities and new
markets to the company.
Designing in 2D AutoCad and 3D Inventor PES Projects
division offers a comprehensive design service.
